Suzette and Saraï share the same view: privacy and security are different but closely connected. Privacy is primarily legal, while security is primarily technical but the two go hand in hand. Suzette explains that a tailor-made approach is one of the most important outcomes of the collaboration. "How can the experts from both companies work together to address a question? Tailor-made solutions are the key here." One example is the privacy and security assessment that clients can now have carried out. We did not offer this combined approach before. Now, together with the client, we look at their specific privacy and security needs in order to develop a tailor-made plan. This can be a combination of our existing services and can take different forms, depending on the organisation's needs.

Working efficiently

For organisations, the collaboration between privacy and security specialists offers a practical advantage. By working together, questions can be addressed more efficiently. Suzette provides an example: "During a DPIA, carried out by Privacy Company, the focus is usually not on technical research, but we do sometimes recommend technical measures." Saraï adds: "Thanks to our collaboration, PuraSec's colleagues can be involved immediately to help implement these measures." Because your organisation can turn to a single point of contact for its questions, unnecessary work is avoided, resulting in greater efficiency.
